Combat Ships of the Czech Navy

Guided Missile Frigate "Jan Neruda"

Fourth (serial) ship in a series of Type Kafka guided missile frigates. Laid on the Trinec Shipyard March 26, 2003, launched on February 24, 2004, commissioned July 27, 2005.

This ship was named after the famous Czech writer. Jan Nepomuk Neruda (1834–1891) was a Czech journalist, writer and poet, one of the most prominent representatives of Czech Realism. Ship hull number - FFG-04. Currently ship is in the 2nd Tactical Group of the surface ships "Plesne" of the Czech Central Fleet.
